Permissions Post

Harry has several abilities that I would like for muns to approve of using on their pups. While none are game-breaking, per say, they do provide Harry with significant insight to the character that the mun may not want disclosed in-game.

Soul Gaze: When a wizard and any being with a soul look each other in the eyes, it triggers a Soul Gaze. It gives one person an intimate, unhindered view of the other person's soul, an with it, a basic understanding of their personality, trustworthiness, and any potential mental tampering that might've been done to them. Once a Soul Gaze has been triggered, it cannot be triggered again with the same person. Also, a Soul Gaze will not occur if say, a doctor were to examine Harry's eyes because the doctor is looking at the physical structure of the eye and not Harry himself. Professional intent prevents it from happening.

Sight: Use of the Sight, sometimes also referred to as "third eye", allows a wizard to gaze upon the world and see its supernatural side, allowing the perception of things hidden to the normal eye. What has been seen through the use of the Sight will remain a lasting memory forever, and will neither fade nor be forgotten. Because of this, wizards don't use it often, for it could easily drive them insane. When the Sight is active, a vampire may not always appear as a slavering, blood crazed beast to Harry, but they may have a black or dark aura about them, or perhaps appear with blood flowing from their mouths.

The Sight usually shows concepts physically, e.g. if a loved one had recently died, a person could have wounds similar to those of a sword, as thought by Harry Dresden. When Molly Carpenter forced her friends off drugs, Harry saw the damage done by her as if a laser scalpel had drilled two holes into the victim's head. In the case of Kincaid, a half mortal, half daemon, he appears as a giant, horned, winged demonic man.

NOTE: Harry does not abuse either his Sight or Soul Gazing, doing so would drive him mad. This permission form is mostly for Mouse and Bob and a "in case something happens" scenario.

If so, what would he see? Bitter, paranoid, PTSD teenager with massive guilt issues. It's less a surprise about his dark side and more that he actually has a good side he attempts to keep repressed for survival.

[Sight]:

If so, what would he see? Retsu would appear as a woman with long, white hair that seems to flow around her as if it’s floating. She would appear to be carrying her zanpakuto. Half of it would shine with pure white light that is soothing just to look at. The other half is inky black and painfully sharp, as if it’s meant to kill as painlessly as possible, but kill nonetheless. She has a third eye in her forehead, representing insight and high spiritual awareness. Behind her hovers a manta ray which seems like it has an awareness of its own. She also seems intensely female, almost to the point of being a reflection of the mother goddess archetype herself. However Harry would represent that is fine.

If so, what would he see? First of all, he’d see that Retsu is powerful. Her power levels are probably comparable to those of Mab and Tatiana, and she has thousands of years of experience to back that power up. Nonetheless, her power is marked by restraint, and by a deep-seated compassion for all who are suffering. If someone is in pain, she wants to help them, no matter who they are; seeing someone healed is its own reward for her. She loves generously and deeply. That said, below the benign, there is an undercurrent of steel. She has little patience for those who harm others, and although she gives people plenty of chances to change, push her far enough and she will fight. The resolve in her soul is frankly terrifying, because when she fights, she fights to win as quickly and with as little pain to the other as possible—and she fights without doubts or even anger. Finally, buried deep in the corner of her soul, is a face, a face like a male version of her. A face that is surrounded by both love and pain, and a sense of vengeance done, but at a cost.

Basically, how Goose wants to view himself, as someone big and powerful, and the arch-nemesis he battled, a battle he'll never forget.

If so, what would he see? A cheery, friend-loving, easy-going man with a very prominent cocky side, a love for flying, and a dislike for inorganic (a.k.a robotic) creatures.

This is tricky. I'll go with a yes; if Shirosaki is acting up, then bring on the pooch Otherwise Ichigo is a decent kind of guy.

Sure. Again, Ichigo is something of a hybrid between human, shinigami, and hollow. So hard to say what that ping back as on another canon's spiritual radar :|a

If Laplace is in his Shirosaki form and Harry uses Sight; somewhat.
Shirosaki will become transparent and the outline of a rabbit will appear but that is all.

He would see an old soul. He is a trickster and enjoys his games. He is relatively harmless himself but he knows how to use people. He would be a strong ally but not someone you want to trust completely.

Since Laplace's intentions are never "evil" I'm going to say no. Mouse can get uneasy when Laplace's plots have something to do with Harry but that's about it.

I'm going to say yes. Laplace is a dream being so he seems to fit perfectly into this world.

If so, what would he see? A pair of brilliant butterfly wings on her back, as well as antennae on her head - they're very pretty, but also a sign of her contract with the demonic Madama Butterfly. In the place of her shadow, an inky blackness: occasionally, maybe a fleeting glance at one of the various demons she's summoned at some point staring back.

If so, what would he see? Confidence, arrogance, a cruel streak a mile wide usually reserved for the angelic, and a very purposeful and very constant use of her sexuality as a weapon. Behind that, and behind the haze of her massive powers, a sense of isolation and of something critical to her as a person being missing, though both of those are beginning to fade.

Bayonetta's more or less true neutral and wholly self-interested; she's not evil, but she's not particularly good either. I don't think most sorts could get her irritated to the point of trying to kill them, but if any angels or other sufficiently powerful supernatural beings show up and start shit, Mouse is free to notice and tattle on her.

[Bob]:
Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Go ahead! She's an Umbran Witch, most likely one of the most powerful ever born in the clan due to her unique lineage, and she doesn't hide what she is by a long shot.

Can Harry use his Sight on them? All are a-okay with this!
If so, what would he see? For Fang, he'd notice she's driven, her mind is set on one specific goal and nothing will get in her way of protecting those she cares for. With Krypta he can notice she's lighthearted and optimistic, but also afraid of herself, in a sense, because of what's happened to her. With Naoto is an unwavering sense of justice and searching for the truth, and a timid sense about feminine ideals. FINALLY, Nero: a. he's a jackass, b. he's a wiseass too, c. he mostly does this to keep people at a distance because they usually judge him, and he hates being judged, but he's also very capable of caring for people and showing that he does. In his own way, of course.

If so, what would he see? With Fang, he'd see this (http://images.wikia.com/finalfantasy/images/a/a7/Fang_Ragnarok_concept.jpg), a massive beast that basically is... asleep for the moment. Should Fang lose it, that'll come out. As for Krypta, he can notice she's a half-demon through possession! Mostly that would show with her having a reddish misty aura and the hint/outline of bloody half angel wings (iiiiiiiif you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll link). Naoto he would see this (http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-08/art/p4-persona-yamato-takeru.jpg) behind her, and Nero- that's a bit tricky since his canon isn't really explained, but for easy sightings it'll be a misty neon blue aura that spills off of him like smoke/steam/etc.

If so, what would he see? He would likely see another, younger girl still there inside of Sarah.

If so, what would he see? A nice person, if with a bit of a stubborn streak and a sarcastic mouth. He would also likely see the mental tampering done by the ablation once created from her, likely something like a large dark blot.

Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Sarah isn't supernatural, though Harry may sense the touches of her trips to the labyrinth. Even more so now that her will helps keep the labyrinth from collapsing.

If so, what would he see? Likely blood, given how many battles she's been in so far. Despite that, she would likely be ringed by a white aura.

If so, what would he see? A good heart, even if it is seized with passion for her cause and country. The veneer of rugged determination, stubborness and passion drops over a much softer, kinder girl behind it.

If your character is evil or has intentions of harm towards Harry or others, can Mouse detect this? Yes, though it's doubtful Jeanne will ever want to harm anyone.

[Bob]:
Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Jeanne is just a plain ol' girl. The most supernatural thing about her might be her visions and voices - and even that is questionable.

If so, what would he see? He was wounded quite a bit several times especially on the torso area. He should also see a crack-like wound on his shoulder, covering it entirely as well as his neck.

If so, what would he see? A lot of resentment and regret. After all, he killed his entire orchestra and pretty much 'lost' his sister to the crown. You can point out that he's a complete fake as he's always smiling even though he's getting hurt and all that. He's also starting to soften because of Eles so.

[Bob]:
Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Uhm, I'm pretty sure Lucille is a normal human being albeit a philomela. However, a lot of things are still hazy about him in the manga, especially about being a beloved child of God so . . . I'll get back to you on this one o/

If so, what would he see? A lot of wounds all over her body, the most prominent would be on her wrists, on her head and her entire legs. She's been tortured a lot when she was a child and fought a lot as well ever since she was a child so.

If so, what would he see? A lot of regret and resentment, especially towards the Church. Worry and concern and pain. Her immense love for Komui, her brother. She's a bit introverted in some ways, especially with her emotions, but nevertheless a very trusting girl.

If your character is evil or has intentions of harm towards Harry or others, can Mouse detect this? Yes! Though Lenalee usually doesn't have that kind of intention towards other people unless they're the Noah.

If so, what would he see? A lioness made of golden fire.

If so, what would he see? A recently made immortal who has a nervous wreck creeping just under the surface. A need for order and logic and things to make sense, to be busy at some work or other. A phantom itch, the urge to scratch and scratch. Beyond all of that, the calmer, watchful, deep thinking part of her, trying to hold it all together.

If your character is evil or has intentions of harm towards Harry or others, can Mouse detect this? No evil here, puppy. Saash is an inherently good being, what with the oath to protect Life for Life's sake and all.

[Bob]:
Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Yes! If you want to use the official term for what Saash is, Bob might know her as a 'Living One', a cat who has gained a tenth and immortal life for all the good they have done in their past nine. Alternatively, just a wizard, a magical cat, an immortal, or any combination of those explanations.

If so, what would he see?Um... Basically not much, perhaps just a mysterious aura, but otherwise Fourth is normal.

If so, what would he see? Despite all of his cruel words and cold personality he could see that Fourth is actually kind in his own way, even if his pride and laziness can overshadow this.

If your character is evil or has intentions of harm towards Harry or others, can Mouse detect this? Well Fourth hasn't been shown with harmful intentions yet, but if the need arose, yes.

Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? Fourth is just a human. A weird one, but just a human. (That we know of...)

If so, what would he see? A blazing undercurrent, and multiple scars all across her body, biggest being on her back running from left shoulder to right hip.

If so, what would he see? A jaded young woman, but someone who still cares a lot about others. Compassionate, short-tempered, determined, honorable, and prideful.

She really doesn't harbor any evil intent toward most people - unless you tell her you're an ally of Kresoveer or you've done enough to her that ends up earning her wrath, which won't happen overnight, thankfully..

If so, what would he see? Fabian covered in bruises and bandages. Despite looking like he'd just gotten his ass kicked pretty badly, he seems...proud.

If so, what would he see? Pride, dumbass teenager who's also sharper than he looks. Has this huge soft spot for children and capable of being highly protective. Something like a decent person despite being a jackass sometimes.

[Bob]:
Can Bob detect what kind of supernatural being your character is? He's a human! Admittedly, a pretty abnormal human with excess magical energy, but I'm not sure if that counts. Also, he's magic resistant, but I'm not familiar with Harry's canon and said magic resistance is only marginally so in some cases. So I'm not sure how it'd work.

If so, what would he see? A sleeping, bandaged Dormouse. Doesn't look like she's getting a lot of restful sleep, either.

If so, what would he see? Sweet kid, basically. She's dreamy and trusting, and ...really just kind of weird. Gentle but isn't really bothered by what other people think of her.

If so, what would he see? It'd be strange, but there'd be... outlines of different people, hazy and washed out overlapping Sora. There will also be a strange black mark over his heart like a gaping wound, oozing darkness, which represents the self-inflicted wound to release Kairi's heart from within his own, thus leading to him temporarily becoming a Heartless. Beyond that, though? An outline of light, like an aura.

Loyalty, determination, kindness to help others and an almost-hero complex all wrapped up in a rather typical happy-go-lucky teenager package. A sense that once this kid is your ally, he's your ally through thick and thin.

If so, what would he see? Morrison blood is black, thick like wet mud. Her heart and soul are tainted and rotted, she practices black magic, human sacrifice, and is a cannibal. So, definitely a dark aura, and while all of this is true about her, but separated from her family it's all very subdued, one her own she is more defined by her nightmares and emotional scars.

Can Harry Soul Gaze your character if needed? I don't know, actually. In Eden's magic-verse there is a similar skill, but you have to have the person's name to gaze in them. I don't know if the protective wards around Eden as a Morrison would keep him out or not. So, I guess my answer will have to be 'no, unless we have a plot reason for it.'
